How can I get to Birmingham airport?
By Car
Birmingham International Airport is on the A45 (Birmingham - Coventry)
trunk road off junction 6 of the M42. There are direct connections
to the M1, M5, M6 and M40. The Airport is fully signposted on both
the motorways and major trunk roads and is well marked on all good
quality road maps.
The Taxi rank is available outside Terminal 2 (Eurohub) terminal
buildings.

By Train
BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL STATION
Linked to Birmingham International Airport by the AIR RAIL LINK,
and is situated on the West Coast Mainline which has a network of
fast and frequent regional and intercity rail services.
CENTRAL TRAINS
Serve the local rail network.Timetable and cost information can
be found by the Traveline on 0870 608 2 608. All tickets for Centro
services must be purchased prior to boarding the train. PENALTY
FARES DO APPLY.
VIRGIN TRAINS
Provide direct links to the rest of the UK. There is a half hourly
service to London Euston with a journey time of approximately 90
minutes.
SILVERLINK COUNTY SERVICES
Call at Birmingham International Station en route to London Euston.
Reduced fares are available on Silverlink services as there are
stops at Rugby, Northampton and Milton Keynes en route.
CHILTERN TRAINS
Call at Solihull Station. Direct links to Banbury, Leamington Spa,
Warwick, Dorridge and Solihull are available. Solihull Station is
connected to Birmingham International Airport every 30 minutes by
the A2 bus.
BIRMINGHAM NEW STREET
In Birmingham City Centre is only 10 minutes away by train from
Birmingham International. New Street offers a convenient interchange
for services to and from all parts of the United Kingdom.
RAILTRACK

AirRail Link (Airport connection to Railway Station)
A shuttle bus called Air Rail Link links the Airport directly to
Birmingham International Station and the National Exhibition Centre
(NEC). This runs approximately every 10 minutes form outside Terminal
1 (Main Terminal) (and International Station). The journey time
is 2 minutes and is free of charge.
By Coach
Birmingham International Airport is served by a number of national
coach services. However, DIGBETH COACH STATION in Birmingham City
Centre is a nationwide hub for National Express Coaches. Links to
all over the country can be made at Digbeth. Birmingham International
Airport is linked to Digbeth every 20-30 minutes by the number 900
bus.
