TERMINAL 1 (MAIN TERMINAL)


FACILITIES:
Baggage Trolleys: Available at the main entrance to the terminal and in the Baggage Reclaim Halls.

Rendezvous Point: On the ground floor in the main concourse adjacent to the American Express Bank.

Tour Operators Desks: On the ground floor in the main concourse. The desks are normally staffed 2 hours before flight departure, for tickets on departure only.

Taxis: Outside the Millenium Link Block.

Car Hire Companies: In the Millenium Link Block.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE FACILITIES:
A Bureau de Change for the sale, purchase and exchange of foreign currency and travellers cheques as well as cheque encashment (with a current bank card). American Express Cardmember Services and the sale of travel insurance is situated on the ground floor.

A recent addition for disabled customers is a till allowing wheelchair access and a loop system for the hard of hearing. Further Bureau de Change are situated in the International Baggage Reclaim Hall and the International Departure Lounge Both are open daily:

Barclays & Nat West automated cash dispensers are available on the ground floor. An American Express cash dispenser with 'Link' facilities is situated on the ground floor .

Left Luggage: From 1st April situated first floor, next to Boots. Also offering key holding and baggage delivery service. 1 April-31 Oct: 24 hours 1 Nov-31 Mar: 0500-2100

Medical Centre: The Airport's first aid facilities are available 24 hours daily. Tel: 0121-767-7137

Passport Photo Machine: In the main concourse on the ground floor.

Fax Facility: Credit card-operated machines are available in the Business Booths in the Departure Lounge.

Nappy Changing Rooms: Available at all times and situated on the first floor and also in the Departure Lounge from the end of March 2000.

Executive Lounges: Both handling agents, MAS & Servisair have lounge facilities for their customer airlines. Business services available in each lounge. For further information contact either handling agent.

Business Booths: In the Departure Lounge with credit card operated phone/email/modem/fax facilities.

Smoking Areas: We have designated areas for smoking and they are within the Granary buffet area and The Abraham Darby Pub on the first floor, and within the Departure Lounge catering outlets, Costa Coffee and Shakespeare Pub.

TERMINAL 2 (EUROHUB)

Nappy Changing Rooms: Available at all times and located in the departure lounge and adjacent to the Information Desk on the ground floor.

BA Terraces Lounge: Situated in the departure lounges.

DISABLED:
Assistance: Help with baggage and Check-In is available by contacting the Airport Information Desk prior to arrival.

Terminal Buildings: All passenger facilities are easily accessible on the ground floor and first floors by using the signposted lifts. Wheelchairs are available on request. MINICOM (hearing for the deaf): To help the deaf and hard of hearing with elephone information, a MINICOM system is installed at the Terminal 1 (Main Terminal) Airport Information Desk. Special MINICOM number: 0121-767-8084 We have staff available on the Information Desk who can use sign language.

Induction Loop System: To amplify announcements for passengers wearing hearing aids.

Passenger Embarkation/Disembarkation: Airlines make their own arrangements for the care of disabled travellers and assistance will be given in getting to and from the aircraft using either a wheelchair or the purpose- built lift vehicle.

Car Parking for Disabled Passengers If you intend your stay to be less than four hours, spaces are available in the Short-Stay car park close to the terminal building. For longer periods, spaces on the ground floor of the Multi-Storey car park are available. These are situated adjacent to Terminal 1 (Main Terminal) to which there is access via a covered walkway. Should you require assistance please press the 'Assist' button situated at the entrance/exit to car park. Please note that car parking is charged at the normal commercial rates and that parking outside the terminal buildings, in the designated space, is restricted to five minutes. Toilet Facilities: Toilets for disabled travellers are provided throughout both terminal buildings as well as in the Multi-Storey car park for which the keys are held in the Multi-Storey car park control room.
